Who We Are
Reptile Storytellers • Ethical Breeders • Community Builders

Slither ‘n’ Such is a husband-and-wife team based in Alberta, blending a lifelong passion for reptiles with a commitment to ethical care, hands-on experiences, and inclusive storytelling. From the sleek shimmer of Eastern Indigo Snakes to the jewel-like patterns of rare isopods, our work celebrates the incredible diversity of the animal world.

With over 25 years of combined expertise in responsible husbandry, species-specific breeding, animal enrichment, and public engagement, we create experiences that spark curiosity in all kinds of audiences – from seasoned herpetology enthusiasts to families meeting their first snake.  Our approach bridges science, connection, and creativity: sharing the quiet magic of a dart frog’s rainforest home, guiding keepers in bioactive enclosure setups, and showcasing the unique personalities of our breeding projects.

At the heart of Slither ‘n’ Such is a respect for the animals we work with, the ecosystems they belong to, and the people who care for them. Every interaction – through breeding programs, educational events, or behind-the-scenes care – is rooted in transparency, accessibility, and a deep love for the living world.

We invite you to explore, learn, and connect with us as we share the wonder, responsibility, and joy of working alongside some of nature’s most fascinating creatures.
