Say Hello to Pixel! He’s Our Little Lizard with Big Energy

Pixel is a baby Ornate Uromastyx who was born on July 17, 2024 – and he’s already a little climbing, jumping, zooming machine! He loves to run all around his enclosure, leap from rock to rock, and explore everything he sees. If you give him a tall rock, he’ll probably be on top of it in no time!

But be careful… Pixel really, really loves his sleep. If you wake him up too early, he gets super grumpy (Just like some kids we know!). Once he’s had a good warm-up in the sun, though, he’s ready to go!

When it’s snack time, Pixel’s favorite treat is lettuce! He munches it up fast and always wants more. And guess what? His beautiful colors are just starting to show! If you look closely, you can see bright blue, green, and yellow starting to peek through his scales. He’s going to grow up to be so colorful!

Pixel might be small, but he’s full of fun, flavor (salad flavor!), and lots of lizardy zooms. Come meet him and see what kind of climbing adventure he’s up to today!
