Bei is a big, shiny snake called an Eastern Indigo Snake and is one of the kindest snakes you’ll ever meet. He is 5 years old, super sweet and gentle and he loves to explore. When he comes out of his home, he wants to see everything  – checking out every nook and cranny, like he’s on a secret snake mission! His scales are dark but shine blue and purple in the light, like sparkly indigo crayons. That’s where he gets his name – “indigo” is a fancy word for a deep blue-purple color. Bei might look like he’s wearing a magical, color-changing snake suit!
